This class will be a all about creating and maintaining a worm composting bin.
Topics discussed will be:
What is worm composting and vermiculture?
The benefits of worm composting.
What things to consider before you start
What it takes for worms to thrive & common problems.
This is an "in person" class. The instructor will bring the worm bins to class.
The instructor will take contact information from each student and stay in touch by email and phone during the students first year (or longer) until the student is self reliant.
Your worm bin will be due for its first harvest in 3 to 4 months.
The instructor supplies all the equipment needed to start your worm bin at no additional charge. He just asks that you try your best to be successful. The instructor has 50 worm bins in his worm farm and 12 years of experience and has given many workshops in person since 2011.
